Permissions
The system can gather permissions for SMS and email send-outs for communication in external systems or directly from features in the system.

Upload
It is possible to upload a list of customers to a permission to connect them to the permission in bulk. First select what customer information you want to upload, the example data format changes depending on what data fields are selected. Then create a CSV file with the correct information and in the correct format. Click anywhere in the Drop files field or drag your file to the field to upload the file. If the file is incorrect you will get an error code, if the file is correct press save and the customers will be uploaded to the permission.
Integrations
It is possible to create an integration for permissions between Tixly and external email systems such as Mailchimp, APSIS, Campaign Monitor and Email Platform. The permission in Tixly is connected to a list in the external email system with the possibility to define if the permission should go both ways (if a customer opts-in or out in Tixly, it will have the same status in the external email system and vice versa) or only one way (opt-ins in Tixly are transferred to the email system but not the other way around).
Contact your local Tixly Support to activate the integration.
Connect permission
Permission can be connected on several different levels.
Season
- Any permission connected to a season will automatically be connected to all events and subscriptions within that season.
Event
- A (event related) permission can be connected on event level, under the Internet tab in an event date.
Subscription
- A (event related) permission can be connected on subscription level, under the Internet tab in a subscription.
Download emails or SMS
The Permission report can be found via Reporting > Permissions, you can select a permission and choose between Signups or Removals. The red and blue Download CSV boxes allow you to download the email addresses or mobile numbers.
The yellow box shows all active unique customers with the chosen permission. If the red or blue box is exported the result will be higher than the number in the yellow box. This is caused by customers that opt-in to a permission more than once. If the customer buys tickets and opts-in to receive the permission, but comes back later in time and buys more tickets and opts-in again, the customer will show up twice in the export. Therefore the export holds duplicates.
