Single sign on (SSO)

At the moment, Google SSO and Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID can be used for Single Sign-On.

The following information must be provided for configuration:

  • The domain(s) that are used to log in with SSO. For example, for Tixly employees the SSO domain is tixly.com.
  • The SSO provider that will be used (for example Google or Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID).

Once we have received this information, we will send instructions so you can configure your own SSO provider.

After the SSO provider has been configured, we would like to receive an .xml metadata file or metadata URL so the development team can take the next steps.

After this adjustment has been made, we will send a message indicating that the SSO can be put into use.

Are there users who have a different email domain (for example external promoters)? Then they can simply log in with email and password after the SSO has been enabled.
The scanner app will never use SSO only, because it doesn't work on many hardware scanners. That is why a scanner user type has been created. Login is possible with email and password.
