Delivery types
A Delivery Type is the way a ticket is delivered to the customer. There are multiple delivery types which can be connected on different levels.
Add Delivery Type
Go to Administration > Workgroup setting > Delivery Types and click Add Delivery Type in the top right corner to add a new delivery type.
Name
- Name of the delivery type, used in the online flow.
Description
- Description of the delivery type, this is used in the online flow.
Receipt description
- Description which is shown on the online receipt page and can be included in the confirmation emails provided the variable is added to the layout.
Price
- Option to charge the customers for certain delivery types.
Delivery Method
- There are multiple different delivery methods available:
- PDF: Gives the customer the option to download their tickets as a pdf from their online receipt page.
- Delivery: The items in the order are printed and sent to the customer by post. All orders with type Delivery show in the Bulk Print module.
- Pick up: Gives customers the possibility to pick up their ticket at the box office.
- Mobile: The option to download tickets from the online receipt page as a pdf or a mobile ticket in Apple Wallet or a similar Android app.
If no image has been added on event level the Event Image on event group level will be used. The maximum file size is 5.5 MB. If the image exceeds this size, loading a mobile ticket will result in an error message.
- Secure: The tickets can't be downloaded from the online receipt immediately. You can set how many minutes before the start of the event the barcodes will become available. The customer sees a message on their online receipt page when the tickets will be available. The QR-code will refresh every 15 seconds which results in a different barcode on the ticket every 15 seconds.
- There are multiple different delivery methods available:
Default
- All delivery types that are set to default yes will automatically be added as a delivery method when creating events.
Downloadable
- If the delivery method is delivery or pick up the option to make the tickets downloadable appears. When set to yes, in addition to receiving hard copy tickets by post or at the box office, the customers can also download their pdf ticket from their online receipt page.
