General Setup for Printer Connection

To connect your thermal printer, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tixly Device Manager.

2. Enter the IP Address and Port of the printer.

3. Select the appropriate printer type in your Box Office settings.

For detailed setup instructions, please read Tixly Device Manager.

Special Setup for Intermec Printers

Due to a specific behaviour in the Tixly Device Manager, when printing images with Intermec printers, both Intermec and Zebra printers must be configured to use the same IP address and port as the Intermec printer.

Example Configuration:

  • IP Address: 192.168.0.169
  • Port: 9100

Both Intermec and Zebra devices will use these same values. See the image below for reference:

Adding Images to a Ticket Layout

1. Go to Administration > Layouts > Tickets to edit the desired ticket layout.

Images can only be added to Item type - Ticket and Layout Type - Intermec or Boca.

2. Add a new element and select Fixed Image from the dropdown menu.

3. Upload and customise the image:

  • Adjust the position using the X and Y properties.
  • Resize the image using the Height and Width properties.
Images are limited to a maximum size of 300px by 300px.
