If Tixly Scanner app does not scan using barcode reader, check the following settings on the device
Ensure the following settings are set on the MT93 scanner in order for the scanner to be able to scan tickets.
Step-by-Step Configuration for Broadcast Intents on Newland MT93
1. Open Scanner Settings
From the device's home screen, swipe down to access the Quick Settings menu.
Tap on "Scan" to open the scanner settings.
2. Set Output Mode to API
In the Scan settings, find the option "Output mode".
Set it to:
API
(This allows intent-based communication instead of keyboard wedge mode.)
3. Configure Broadcast Output Settings
Scroll to or find the “Broadcast output settings” option and open it.
4. Set Intent Broadcast Values
Update the following fields with these values:
- Broadcast Action:
com.zebra.dwintents.ACTION
- Primary option:
com.symbol.datawedge.data_string
If the app does not respond, try the fallback:
com.motorolasolutions.emdk.datawedge.data_string
- Barcode Type Name Extra:
com.symbol.datawedge.label_type
