There are two different subscription types: Fixed seat subscription (Specific events) where the customer purchases tickets to a predefined number of events that occur in the same hall and the customer sits in the same seat. In a Flexible subscription (Choose from multiple events), the customer chooses the amount of events and tickets they would like to attend.

Create subscription

The prerequisite for creating a subscription is to have first created the desired ticket types (subscription type) and that these have been priced in the events that will be included in the subscription.

Ticket types are created under Administration - Tickets - Ticket types. For more information, click here

Subscription X includes Event 1, Event 2 and Event 3. Those three events include ticket type (of subscription type) Standard X that has the price €20. Total price for the subscription will then become €60.

Proces renewal

  • All subscriptions need to be made.
  • When we received all information, we need 3 weeks to set the renewals.
  • We make orders which the buyer can see in their online environment and has the choice to renew.
  • The theater makes a report when this is done (reports - subscriptions - sales> choose right season and reporttype ‘reserved tickets’) with all renewals. An e-mail can be send to the buyers via an external mailing tool (eg. Mailchimp). De order links can be included in this e-mail.

What do we need to know?

  • ID’s of the new subscriptions to which need to be renewed.
  • When one customer has multiple subscriptions, do they need to be in separate orders, or in 1?
  • When following the link of the order, needs the customer to be logged in automatically?
  • Are there unnumbered events in the subscription?
  • When do the renewals need to be ready? This is another date than set in the renewal. We ask for this date, so the renewals are done in time to prepare the e-mails. This date is for all customers alike. There are no exceptions for curtain groups.

What are the basket settings?

Do subscriptions be changeable or deletable? There are several options:

  • No: the customer doesn’t see a basket, no changes allowed (eg. upsell) and they can only pay.
  • Simple: the customer sees the basket and can go there to change the order (eg. upsell).
  • Advanced: the customer starts in the basket and can immediately do changes (eg. upsell).

In addition to this, we would like to receive by e-mail/ticket all important general sale starts for the new season. So start presale members, start sale subscriptions, start regular sale, etc. We mark these dates in our calendars for monitoring.
